OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Limited Transfer Facility (LTF) on request of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) – Amendment in Para 2 regarding Order of Priority for Transgender GDS – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Directorate’s OM of even number dated 10.10.2024 regarding revised guidelines governing the Limited Transfer Facility (LTF) on request of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).

2. Amendment in Para 2 (Order of Priority): In case of receipt of two or more applications for transfer on the same post, the order of priority in which transfer applications will be processed in online mode will be as under:

GDS with PwD (benchmark disabilities)

• Female GDS – on spouse ground (male spouse working at destination in Govt./PSU etc., certificate required)
• Male GDS – on spouse ground (female spouse in non‑transferable Govt./PSU job, certificate required)
• Date of engagement (earlier joining gets preference)
• Female (other than spouse ground)
• Transgender GDS (valid certificate under Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 / competent authority / District Magistrate)
• Date of birth (older age gets preference)
• Date & time of application (earlier submission gets preference)

Note: Spouse ground preference only if spouse works in Central/State Govt. or its undertakings/subordinate organizations. Certificate must be uploaded in prescribed format (Annexure I/II).

3. GM, CEPT Mysuru to make necessary modifications in Rule 3 Online Transfer Portal to capture category and certificate before next transfer cycle. 4. All other terms of OM dated 10.10.2024 remain unchanged. 5. Hindi version will follow.
