Subject: Regarding Amendment in Constitution of National Union of RMS & MMS Employees Mail Guard & MTS Gr. C.

Sir,

I am directed to refer your letter No. NUR/106/AMENDMENT/2026 dated 18.05.2026 received from the General Secretary, National Union of RMS & MMS Employees Mail Guard & MTS Gr. C on the subject mentioned above and to inform you that the Competent Authority has approved the following proposed amendment of Association’s Constitution:

1.	Article 33 (a): Allocation Federation: Rs. 01.00 All India Union: Rs. 17.00 Circle Union: Rs. 17.00 Divisional Union: Rs. 20.00 Branch Union: Rs. 15.00 (per member per month). Where there are no Branch Union the quota due to Branches will go to Divisional Union.	Article 33 (a): Allocation Federation: Rs. 02.00 All India Union: Rs. 24.00 Circle Union: Rs. 24.00 Divisional Union: Rs. 30.00 Branch Union: Rs. 20.00 (per member per month). Where there are no Branch Union the quota due to Branches will go to Divisional Union.
2.	Article 17 (1) a: i) To elect following office Bearers One President, One Working President, Two Vice President, One General Secretary, One Deputy General Secretary, Four Assistant General Secretaries, Seven Assistant Organizing Secretaries, One Treasurer.	Article 17 (1) a: i) To elect following office Bearers One President, One Working President, Two Vice President, One General Secretary, One Deputy General Secretary, Four Assistant General Secretaries, Seven Assistant Organizing Secretaries, One Treasurer. (No change – shown for context)
3.	Article 24 (a): To elect following office Bearers One President, Two Vice President, Circle Secretary, one or more Assistant Secretary but not exceeding three, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, one or more Organizing Secretaries but not exceeding three.	Article 24 (a): To elect following office Bearers One President, One Working President, Two Vice President, One Circle Secretary, One Deputy Circle Secretary, Seven Assistant Circle Secretaries, One Organizing Secretary, One Treasurer.
4.	Article 30 (f): The Assistant Treasurer will assist Treasurer in the discharge of his duties.	Article 30 (f): The Assistant Treasurer post is deleted.
5.	Article 37: i) Powers – Among other, it shall exercise the following specific powers: To elect office Bearers – One President, One Working President, Two Vice President, One Divisional Branch Secretary, One Deputy Divisional Branch Secretary, Four Assistant Divisional/Branch Secretaries, Three Organizing Secretaries, One Treasurer and One Assistant Treasurer.	Article 37: i) Powers – Among other, it shall exercise the following specific powers: To elect office Bearers – One President, One Working President, Two Vice President, One Divisional Branch Secretary, One Deputy Divisional Branch Secretary, One Assistant Divisional Branch Secretary, One Organizing Secretary, One Treasurer.
6.	Article 42 (v): The Assistant Treasurer will assist Treasurer in the discharge of his duties.	Article 42 (v): The Assistant Treasurer post is deleted.

2. This may be incorporated in the existing constitution of the said Association and a revised copy of the constitution may be submitted on priority basis to this office for official record.
