Subject: Constitution of Teams for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of IMS Application
Sir/Madam,
Kindly refer to this Directorate letter No. 56-01/2025-LI (IMS 2.0) dated 07.10.2025, wherein teams were constituted for preparation of the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) and Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) for development of the IMS application.
In this regard, it is informed that the development work of the IMS application by Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology (CEPT) is near completion. Accordingly, for conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the application and ensuring that all functional and business requirements are met as envisaged, teams have been tentatively constituted.
The details of the teams tentatively constituted for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are enclosed at Annexure-A. In this regard, it is requested that the concerned officials may kindly be directed to extend necessary cooperation and discharge their assigned roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the UAT activities.
The UAT is likely to be carried out in the first and second week of August,
2026 at CEPT Mysuru. Final schedule of UAT and list of actual officials who are to attend at CEPT Mysuru will be shared with the concerned Circles in due course.
It is further requested that the officials identified for the UAT teams may be relieved by their respective controlling authorities [as per final schedule to be communicated by PLI Dte in due course] to facilitate their active participation and to have successful completion of the UAT.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
