Sub: Calling for application of volunteers for filling up of one post of Sr. Instructor on deputation at PTC Darbhanga, Bihar.

The Director, Postal Training Centre, Darbhanga invites applications from volunteers to work as Senior Instructor at PTC Darbhanga on deputation basis.

Eligibility conditions:

• Applicant should be of ASPOs cadre.
• Must have fluency in English and Hindi.
• Must have knowledge of departmental rules, procedures, and software (Finacle, IT 2.0, etc.).
• No disciplinary actions pending.
• Age not more than 52 years on last date of application.
• Required to undertake full-time teaching of Postal/RMS operations.
• Expected to undergo training programs in India or abroad.
• Expected to prepare/update Standard Training Packages up to Group B cadre.
• Expected to prepare training materials, manuals, question papers, and evaluate scripts.
• Must dedicate fully to training activities.
• Should have completed cooling-off period as per DoPT OM dated 17.06.2010.

Tenure & Conditions:

• Tenure: 4 years at PTC Darbhanga.
• Must join within reasonable time on short notice.
• Withdrawal of candidature after selection or during tenure not allowed.
• Can be repatriated to parent unit anytime before tenure completion.

Other Provisions:

• Eligible for Training Allowance of 12% on basic pay.
• Departmental quarters subject to availability (license fee applicable).
• Officials due for promotion within 4 years need not apply.
• After tenure, eligible for posting at place of choice subject to administrative exigencies.
• Applications must be forwarded with recommendation, APAR grading (last 5 years), and vigilance clearance by 17.10.2026.
• Selection will involve interview/test.
